In many ways our high school classes serve as the anchor for Collegedale Academy's academics . Students from around the area and country culminate at CA to experience high school and achieve diplomas. CA proactively intertwines Christ and spiritual life within our academics, extra-ciricular activities and all events that create the academy experience.

CA student

CA provides an academic program with three high school diplomas: regular, college prep and CA Scholars. Digital textbooks are used. Each student has an iPad to enhance their learning using up-to-date mediums combined with traditional tactics. Core academic content includes: Acro-Force (Gymnastics), Advanced Woods/Cabinetry, Algebra I/II, Art Appreciation, Auto Maintenance, Band, Biology, Bridge Math, Calculus (AP), Cardio-Strength Training, Chemistry, Computer Applications, Digital Lifestyle, Drawing/Painting, Earth Science, Economics, English I/II/III/IV, French I/II, Geometry, Handbells, Home Maintenance, Jazz Band, Journalism, Life Skills, Multi-Media Design, Opus (select voice choir), Orchestra, Personal Finance, Physical Education, Physical Science, Physics, Pre-Calculus, Religion I/II/III/IV, Sculpture, Spanish I/II, Statistics, Study Skills, Team Sports, US History, US Government, Wellness, World History. CA students may also take dual-enrollment classes through Southern Adventist University. Dual-credit classes include Anatomy & Physiology, Comp 101/102, Statistics, and Music in Western Culture.

Students can acquire university level math credits through CLEP and AP exams. We also administer the PSAT and ACT to our students. Our graduation rate is 98% with approximately 96% of our graduates going on to two or four year college and university programs. ACT results are also ahead of state and national averages.
