Inspiring a Lifelong Love of Music

From early childhood through high school, music is an integral part of life at Collegedale Academy. Beginning in elementary school, each class is guided by dedicated music teachers who help lay the foundation for participation in our advanced musical ensembles at the middle and high school levels.

Music at CA isn’t just about education—it’s about sharing the joy of performance with our community. Each year, our musical groups come together to present performances for over 1,400 attendees across four spectacular shows. Past productions include beloved classics like Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music, and Hello, Dolly!—as well as original works like Queen of Persia, written and directed by our own Choir Director, Lawrence Galera.

Beyond the stage, our music groups regularly perform at local churches and tour incredible destinations such as Boston, Savannah, Chicago, Puerto Rico, and even Europe.

At Collegedale Academy, music is more than just an activity—it’s a powerful way for students to express themselves, develop their talents, and make lasting memories.
