STEP 8: THE WORKS CITED PAGE

THE BASIC DIFFERENCES BETWEEN
YOUR BIBLIOGRAPHY and WORKS CITED

The Works Cited:

  1. is NOT numbered
  2. has your header (last name, page number--see example below)
  3. is entitled Works Cited.

Remember that it must be:

1. in alphabetical order
2. in the proper format (don't forget hanging indent on 2nd & 3rd lines!)
3. double-spaced
4. UNNUMBERED!
5. titled Works Cited; the title is centered, but NOT underlined nor in bold type.

Follow the example below to complete your works cited page for your final paper.
